Make a statement and dress up any attire with this eye-catching necklace! From the collection of the Walters Art Museum, this adaptation necklace features real lapis cabochons and beads with 22k gold-plated granulated settings and spacers. Adaptations of ancient jewelry became very popular in the mid 19th century. In 1909, Henry Walters visited the Castellani workshop in Naples, Italy, which was famous for this style of jewelry. This piece featuring 5 cabochon pendants and a toggle clasp measures 18 inches long. As these are natural semi-precious stones, no two stones are alike and may vary slightly in color.
