Drop-in Art Making: Luminous Lanterns
Each year, our friends at Creative Alliance host the Great Baltimore Lantern Parade & Día de Los Muertos Festival. This year, stop by the Walters for this free art-making activity where you can create your very own lantern for the parade using special materials.
Then, get ready to light up the night! If you create a lantern during one of our October lantern-making events, you’re invited to walk with the Walters at Creative Alliance’s annual event on Saturday, October 24.
Drop-in Art Making is a program where people of all ages and abilities can get creative and make a work of art inspired by our collection. Come with your family, friends, or on your own. Join us for a little while, or stay the whole time!
