Field Trips

Bringing students to the Walters Art Museum allows you and your group to explore the museum’s extraordinary collection with a guide or at your own pace. The Walters offers different types of free in-person field trips for grades Pre-K–12. Schools planning a visit can request an interactive guided tour, a discovery visit, or a self-guided visit during public hours on Wednesdays and Fridays. Accessibility and translation accommodations are available upon request

Field trips at the Walters are free thanks to the generosity of visitors like you. Please consider a donation of $12 per person for your tour group.

Educator Workshops

Join Walters staff to explore the Walters collection, make your own art, and engage in cross-curricular conversations with other educators. Sign up for our teacher e-newsletter to be alerted when these opportunities are available.
