Walk with the Walters in the Lantern Parade
Want to be part of Creative Alliance’s Great Baltimore Lantern and Dia de los Muertos Festival? This is your chance!
Throughout the month of October, the Walters Art Museum is offering lantern-making opportunities for visitors who wish to walk behind the Walters’ banner as we parade through Patterson Park. If you participated in one of these lantern-making events, you are invited to grab your lantern and join us. If you like, you can also create a lantern inspired by the Walters collection at home and walk alongside us.
Parade participants will meet at Patterson Park at 6:30 p.m. to assemble, and the parade will begin at 7 p.m. Registration is required so additional parade logistics can be provided via email.
