Join curator Lynley Anne Herbert, Robert and Nancy Hall Curator of Rare Books and Manuscripts, as she reflects on St. Francis’ use of a book to guide his spiritual path, the growing belief in the Walters’ Missal as the book of legend, and the way the museum has stewarded the manuscript as both a religious object and a work of art.
