Deadly or divine? Come check out our newest exhibition, If Books Could Kill—but don’t worry, the zines we’ll make are benign! Take a tour of the manuscript gallery with Lynley Herbert, Robert and Nancy Hall Curator of Rare Books and Manuscripts, and create a zine inspired by our manuscripts made with toxic materials. Tours will be offered at 6:15 p.m. and 7 p.m. All zine-making materials used in this workshop are nontoxic.
First Thursdays: Make and Mingle is a drop-in program designed for adults to get creative and socialize. We supply all the materials to make art together. A selection of food and drink will be available for purchase, so you can enjoy a glass of wine, coffee, or a snack while you’re crafting. College students can show their student ID for one free cup of coffee. Shop at the Museum Store after you’re done creating and receive a 10% discount on store purchases (20% for supporters). Not a supporter? Give today!
