Make a decorative bandana to convey who you are and what makes you unique! Take inspiration from René Treviño’s artwork This cape is FLY to explore the different ways people express their intersectionality and pride. René Treviño’s work is on view in conjunction with the installation Latin American Art / Arte Latinoamericano.

First Thursdays: Make and Mingle is a drop-in program designed for adults to get creative and socialize. We supply all the materials to make art together. A selection of food and drink will be available for purchase, so you can enjoy a glass of wine, coffee, or a snack while you’re crafting. College students can show their student ID for one free cup of coffee. Shop at the Museum Store after you’re done creating and receive a 10% discount on store purchases (20% for supporters).
