Start 2025 by brightening someone else’s day. Share your hopes for the new year and create mail art for residents at the Waxter Center, a senior center near the Walters.

First Thursdays: Make and Mingle is a drop-in program for adults to get creative and socialize. We supply all the materials to make art together. A selection of food and drink will be available for purchase, so you can enjoy a glass of wine, coffee, or a snack while you’re crafting. College students can show their student ID for one free cup of coffee. Shop at the Museum Store after you’re done creating and receive a 10% discount on store purchases (20% for supporters).
