Supporters of the Walters Art Museum and members of The Barnes Foundation, Philadelphia, are invited to attend this special online program that explores similarities between each collection. Christine Sciacca, Curator of European Art, 300-1400 CE, at the Walters will join Kaelin Jewell, Senior Instructor at The Barnes Foundation, for a look into medieval portraiture from both collections. This talk will be livestreamed on the Barnes’ Visual Experience Platform (VXP). The VXP is an exciting new technology developed by the Barnes that allows online participants to interact with works of art and see up close details like never before!
