Join Earl Martin, Deborah and Philip English Curator of Decorative Arts, Design, and Material Culture, for a tour focusing on international exhibitions or world’s fairs, which became major venues for the exhibition of art and design in the second half of the 19th-century. Learn about some extraordinary objects in the Walters collection that were shown at these events, including works by René Lalique, Tiffany and Company, Minton Ceramics Manufactory, and Sèvres Porcelain Manufactory.
