Drop-in Art Making: Woven Together

Saturday, June 28, 2025, 11 a.m.–1 p.m.

Location: Sculpture Court
No registration is required.

We learn and grow from those who came before us. Contribute to a collaborative textile that will grow and evolve and tell a woven story of our Drop-in Art Making community. Afterward, collect materials to make your own textile that reflects your personal growth and change. This lesson is inspired by the textiles on view in Latin American Art / Arte Latinoamericano, an installation of works from the museum’s collection of art from South, Central, and North America and the Caribbean, which opens on May 17.

Drop-in Art Making is a program where people of all ages and abilities can get creative and make a work of art inspired by our collection. Come with your family, friends, or on your own. Join us for a little while, or stay the whole time!

Drop-in Art Making is made possible thanks to generous support from BGE and The Walters Women’s Committee Legacy Endowment.
