Family Day: Lanterns/Linternas
Welcome to Family Day at the Walters, an afternoon of free activities for families to gather, explore, and create. This month, light up your imagination by making lanterns and participating in other “bright” activities and performances in celebration of Creative Alliance’s Great Baltimore Lantern Parade & Día de Los Muertos Festival.
Did you know? If you create a lantern during one of our October lantern-making events, you’re invited to walk with the Walters at Creative Alliance’s annual event on Saturday, October 24.
Self-guided activities, such as gallery games and art activities, will be available all day for families to enjoy before and after the event.
