Teens are invited to make a mosaic artwork inspired by Baltimore-based teaching artist Herb Massie’s Reflections of Sybby Grant and learn about the legacy of Sybby Grant, an enslaved cook who lived and worked at 1 West Mount Vernon Place. During this event, teens are encouraged to consider how we might use art to uplift and honor lost histories.

Teen Lab is a space for teens to hang out, create art, and make friends. During this drop-in program, teens participate in creative activities, explore different cultures through art, and check out our galleries. Teens can stop by anytime between 4–6 p.m. to join in. Ages 13–17.
