What is Revive, Contemplate, and Integrate?
The Walters Art Museum and Young Audiences/Arts for Learning are pleased to announce an arts integration workshop for elementary and middle school arts, language arts, social studies, math, and science teachers. This workshop focuses on collaborations between interdisciplinary pairs of teachers as they develop arts integrated lessons based on objects from the Walters Asian collection. These lessons will enable students to achieve content standards in the arts, language arts, social studies, math, and science. Teachers will tour the Walters, participate in arts integrated lessons modeled by a Young Audiences teaching artist, research and develop an arts integrated lesson plan with a partner, review, analyze and refine lessons with Walters and Young Audiences staff, and finally present these lessons to other educators.
