Baltimore, MD–The Walters Art Museum confirms the successful ratification of the new Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) between the museum and AFSCME, WWU, following a collaborative and productive negotiation process. This CBA marks the museum’s first contract with the Union.

The Walters Art Museum and AFSCME, WWU reached a tentative agreement on June 23, 2025, after two years of negotiations. The three-year agreement will remain in effect through July 23, 2028. The contract covers approximately 80 employees, including security officers, front of house teams, maintenance and engineering, installations, learning and community engagement, curatorial, and conservation, among others.
