Engage with centuries of human creativity and history at the Walters Art Museum through tours, which create opportunities for exploration, discussion, and creative expression in the galleries.
Groups planning a visit can request an interactive guided tour or a self-guided visit during public hours. Please complete this form and a staff member will follow up within 3 business days to help plan your experience.
Guided tours are hour-long, staff-led experiences that blend conversational guided looking with creative exploration that is accessible for different abilities and learning styles. Groups must have a minimum of 5 people to book a tour.
Customize your tour by choosing a theme and an activity your group will enjoy: art-making, extended gallery conversation, or materials to further explore the collection on your own. Tour themes:
Love is in the Art
Friends, romantic partners, caregivers—this experience celebrates love of all kinds! Relish in artworks that embody the different ways love can make us feel.
Art with Flavor
Nothing brings people together like sharing a meal. Explore how visual and culinary arts intersect, often with mouthwatering results.
The Stylish Self
Few creative expressions are more personal than how we dress. Take a gender-expansive, cross-cultural look at how people throughout history have dressed and accessorized.
