Monthly Homeschool Workshops
Third Thursday of the month, September–May, 1:15–3:30 p.m.
Members: $3 per child, per workshop
Non-members: $6 per child, per workshop
Registration forms must be received by the Friday before the workshop.
Explore the Walters through workshops designed exclusively for homeschool students ages 5–12. Participants enjoy an introduction to the museum, a guided tour, studio activity, and post-visit materials. Register online by clicking on the appropriate session and age group below (or mail/fax the registration form pdf)

Ten-Week Arts Intensive Workshop for Homeschool Teens
March 3, 2010 – May 5, 2010
All classes take place on Wednesdays from 1-4 p.m.
Ages: 13-17 Members: $70 per student, Non-members $100 per student
Want to have interesting conversations about art, learn new techniques, and build your portfolio? During each eight week session, students will explore the galleries and experiment in the studio, making personal connections to the collection and sharpening art-making skills. Each student will brainstorm a theme of their choice and explore this theme in a variety of media, building a small portfolio of related work. At the culmination of the 10-week session, students will hang their own art show in the museum on view May 5, 2010- May 16, 2010 and host a small closing reception for family and friends on Sunday, May 16, 2010 at 1 p.m.
