Get Creative

Extend your visit with a studio activity that complements your school tour. Students can explore their creative talents through hands-on projects. Activities are age-appropriate and reflect ideas and themes covered in the school tours. All projects go home with students.

Studio Fees

$1.50 per student (except Title I schools)*

*Book a studio in December and January and receive a reduced rate of $.75 per child for the studio!

• You will receive an invoice for these charges one month prior to your scheduled visit.
• Please make checks payable to the Walters Art Museum at least two weeks prior to your visit.  Include school's name and date of visit on your check.
• Studio fees are non-refundable.
• Receipts cannot be issued at the museum on the day of your visit.

Group Sizes

Minimum number of students: 15
Maximum number of students: 60

Length of Time

Combined tour and studio for grades K-1: 1 1/2 hours
Combined tour and studio for grades 2 and higher: 2 hours

If you are interested in scheduling a studio experience, remember to check the appropriate box on your tour request form, and it will be booked at the same time as your tour.
