FREE MLK Jr. Family Festival

All ages come together to celebrate the life and triumphs of one of our nation’s greatest heroes, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Special guests will pay tribute through theatrical performances and stories, and all ages can share their dreams, personal heroes and peaceful testimonies through art projects, videos and collaborative community activities.

All performances take place in Graham Auditorium, Lower Level & Level 1

11a.m. - Karen’s Fun House children’s group performs A Tribute to Dr. King and Heroes of the Civil Rights Movement

12p.m. - Baltimore Urban Debate League presents award-winning student speeches

1p.m. - Dr. King’s I Have A Dream speech (1963)

3p.m. - GRAND FINALE: Illstyle & Peace Productions performing the dance and music celebration, Become Your Dreams

ART ACTIVITIES & MORE!

10a.m. - 4p.m. - Create Your Community Collages, Studio A, Family Art Center; Mega Hero Medallions, Studio B, Family Art Center; Grateful Greetings, Level 2 Lobby

Threshold to the Sacred: The Ark Door of Cairo's Ben Ezra Synagogue
