Drawing at the Walters Art Museum: Structure, Form and Rhythm

Why work in a drawing studio when you have the entire Walters Art Museum at your disposal? Popular local artist and teacher Leslie Shellow will lead drawing lessons in specific galleries. Learn more about the Walters' vast collections while honing your drawing skills.

Drawing classes occur every Sunday for one month:
January 16, 23, 30 and February 6, 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.
These classes are the first in a series of  two, the second one being The Figure

Price: Members $60, Non-Members $120
This price is for all four drawing lessons

Ikebana Floral Demonstration by Ikebana International

Held in conjunction with our special exhibition Designed for Flowers: Contemporary Japanese Ceramics, this program, one in a series of three, will feature masters from Ikebana International demonstrating the art of Ikebana for a live audience. Ikebana, a traditional form of artistic expression, combines organic material, most notably flowers, and specially chosen vessels, as seen in the special exhibition, into works of art that are aesthetically unique to Japanese culture.
