Homeschool Workshop: Egypt’s Mysterious Book of the Faiyum Ages 5-6

The Book of the Faiyum is an illustrated papyrus from Greco-Roman Egypt depicting the Faiyum oasis, located to the west of the Nile.  In this special exhibition workshop students will uncover the mysteries surrounding this ancient papyrus and life in ancient Egypt.

Explore the Walters through this workshop designed exclusively for homeschool students ages 5-16. Participants enjoy an introduction to the museum, a guided tour, studio activity and post-visit materials.
