Homeschool Workshop: Ikebana & Nature in Asian Art Ages 10-12

The Japanese art of flower arranging, or ikebana, has been inspired by the philosophies, literature and aesthetics of Japan throughout history.  In this special exhibition workshop students will discuss the art of Ikebana and the influence of nature in Asian art.

Explore the Walters through this workshop designed exclusively for homeschool students ages 5-16. Participants enjoy an introduction to the museum, a guided tour, studio activity and post-visit materials.
