Mummified Date: 11/15/08 - 11/08/10
Every Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun Tags: Egyptian Art Time: 10:00 AM - 05:00 PM Discover the ancient secrets of the Walters' mummy, as revealed through the techniques of virtual autopsy. This focus show will feature approximately 20 ancient Egyptian objects depicting images of mummified people, animals, and deities. A section of the installation will focus on the "Mummimania" of the 17th-20th centuries.

Palace of Wonders: Renaissance & Baroque Galleries Date: 10/14/09 - 10/14/20
Every Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun Tags: Time: 10:00 AM - 05:00 PM The installations presents a re-creation of a Collection of Art and Wonders as it might have been assembled by a 17th-century nobleman in the Southern Netherlands: his entry hall of arms and armor, a private study and a Chamber of Wonders encompassing curiosities of nature and human creativity.

Art of the Ancient Americas Date: 10/14/09 - 10/14/12
Every Sat, Sun Tags: Time: 10:00 AM - 05:00 PM All of the major civilizations of Mesoamerica are featured in this installation, including the Olmec, Maya and Teotihuacan. The exhibition focuses on small sculpture from these cultures' enigmatic figures and animals that probably served a ritual function.

Every Sun Tags: Tour Time: 02:00 PM - 03:00 PM Free docent-led tours of the permanent collection or the special exhibition are offered Sundays at 2 p.m. (unless otherwise noted). No reservations are required. Meet in the Centre Street Lobby near the Visitor Services Desk.

Bearing Witness: Work by Bradley McCallum & Jacqueline Tarry Date: 05/08/10 - 08/01/10
Every Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun Tags: Time: 10:00 AM - 05:00 PM Bearing Witness is a multi-venue survey of over ten years of work by the artist duo Bradley McCallum and Jacqueline Tarry. 8 larger-than-life mother-and-child portraits painted on silk are suspended from the ceiling in the Walters lobby.
