Gary talks with the author of a book about Henry Walters and Bernard Berenson
In 2009, the Walters introduced Spotlight with Gary Vikan, a lively on-stage conversation series with host Gary Vikan speaking with distinguished guests. In this session, Vikan will chat with Stanley Mazaroff, author of Henry Walters and Bernard Berenson: Collector and Connoisseur, about the perils and pleasure of collecting Italian Renaissance painting during the Gilded Age of America. This program was made possible via a partnership between the Walters Art Museum and the Johns Hopkins University Press.
This program is sponsored by Urbanite Magazine.
