Dr. Richard Burger presents the Distinguished Lecture of Art in the Ancient Americas on the Manchay Civilization of Peru. This free annual lecture series reflects a collaborative effort between the Department of the History of Art, Johns Hopkins University and the Walters Art Museum to draw scholarly attention to the rich pre-Hispanic heritage of Mesoamerica and the Andes, while fostering continuing interest in art of the ancient Americas.
