Geared toward high school fine art, art history, and chemistry students, this program begins with an introduction in the auditorium led by a conservator who will present a video of the conservation lab and give behind-the-scenes information about the job of a conservator at the Walters.
Following the presentation, students will meet with conservators in the galleries. Each gallery stop will demonstrate connections between art and science. Demonstrations will incorporate a technical presentation that draws on real-life science experiences.
