Join us for an exciting day of learning at Cylburn Aboretum and the Walters Art Museum.
10 a.m. to Noon
Students will visit the Cylburn Arboretum and discover habitats, plants, and backyard animals while exploring the outdoors.
Noon to 1:30 p.m.
Parents and guardians are responsible for students’ lunch and transportation to the Walters.
1:30 to 3:30
Following a lunch break, meet us at the Walters to explore the different ways artists depict real and imaginary animals and habitats in paintings and sculptures throughout the centuries.
This workshop is designed exclusively for homeschool students ages 5–12. Participants enjoy an introduction to the museum, a guided tour, studio activity, and post-visit materials.
Pre-registration is required. When enrolling, please include your participating student’s name and age.
Museum members can register early for this popular series beginning August 2! Non-member registration will become available August 9.
