Classroom Connect

Welcome to the Walters’ Classroom Connect portal! Here you will find a collection of new multimedia resources designed with K–8 curricula in mind.

Comprising videos, activity sheets, and a graphic novel, Classroom Connect uses themes to explore the Walters Art Museum’s collection and to build visual literacy, creativity, and historical and critical thinking skills. The resources available here can be used online or in print to support learning for students with little to no internet access, at home or in their classrooms.

The Walters expansive collection of historic art offers an incredible opportunity to interrogate the past and to better understand the present. Classroom Connect encourages students to ask questions, to seek answers, and to support observations about the world around them. Through Classroom Connect, your student will learn about the ways in which objects tell us about the people and cultures who made them.
