Every Saturday and Sunday! No registration required. Drop-in, make and take a fantastic piece of art home with you!

Join museum educators as they help families create artful projects related to the collection, special exhibitions and family programs. Check out our monthly themes and visit often to participate in a different project each weekend!

In March, explore a sparkling treasure trove of precious materials! The special exhibition, Treasures of Heaven, will inspire us as we create ornate mementos and keepsakes of our own including treasure chests, memory capsules, golden figurines, and secret books.

Walk-In Tour: Designed for Flowers: Contemporary Japanese Ceramics

Take the opportunity to tour our spring exhibition with its curator, for only the price of an exhibition ticket (free for members). Meet Dr. Robert Mintz in the Centre Street lobby for this installment of our Sunday walk-in tours.

Ikebana Floral Demonstration by Ikebana International

Held in conjunction with our special exhibition Designed for Flowers: Contemporary Japanese Ceramics, this program, one in a series of three, will feature masters from Ikebana International demonstrating the art of Ikebana for a live audience. Ikebana, a traditional form of artistic expression, combines organic material, most notably flowers, and specially chosen vessels, as seen in the special exhibition, into works of art that are aesthetically unique to Japanese culture.
