Walk, Wonder, & Create Tour: Find a Hero (11AM)

Mythical and historical, ancient and modern – there are heroes among us! Throughout the museum, there are many heroes to admire; they are honored in sculptures and paintings and often displayed behind beautiful frames. During this heroic adventure, explore how artists have helped to keep heroes alive throughout history!  Travel to our studio to apply similar techniques as you celebrate and honor the heroes in your life.
Recommended for ages 6-8. One guardian per two children required.

Graduated from our pre-k program?  Join the big kids and their adults for our popular Walk, Wonder, and Create family tours! For ages 6 and up, this once-a-month 45-minute experience allows families to enjoy an interactive tour of the Walters’ collection, and then create artwork that relates to the theme of the tour.

PLEASE NOTE: Online pre-registration required. Register for the 11a.m. or 1p.m. tour. Fall 2012 (August - January) Program registration will be available in July: July 2 - Member registration begins; July 11 - Public registration begins. Museum members can register early for this popular series!
