Explore some of the ways that objects in the Walters’ outstanding collection of Chinese art—from hanging scrolls to mounted porcelains—have been modified over time for display in European and American homes. This informative talk will be led by Robert Mintz, Chief Curator and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Quincy Scott Curator of Asian Art.
Presented by the Friends of the Asian Collection, a special-interest group that offers museum members exciting ways to connect with the collection. For information, contact Liz Frantz at 410-547-9000, ext. 203, or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
