May–July: Take a tour of The Janet & Walter Sondheim Art Prize Finalists Exhibition with Adriana Proser, Mr. & Mrs. Thomas Quincy Scott Curator of Asian Art and Curatorial Chair. This tour will cover submissions by the five finalists of the 2025 Janet & Walter Sondheim Art Prize, which is geared toward artists living and working in the Baltimore region. This 20th edition of the finalist exhibition features a range of creations, from paintings and collages to installations and spoken word art, by Aliana Grace Bailey, Amanda Leigh Burnham, Lillian Jacobson, Jacob Mayberry, and Wonchul Ryu. Perfect for art students! Times are to be coordinated after receipt of an email expressing interest. Capacity: 15 participants.
May—August: Take a tour of Latin American Art / Arte Latinoamericano with Ellen Hoobler, William B. Ziff, Jr., Curator of Art of the Americas. This tour will cover the new galleries of Latin American art, featuring works from across four millennia and 40 cultures from North, Central, and South America and the Caribbean. There will be a focus on the materials of the works on view, and the meanings those raw materials held and continue to hold for Indigenous cultures. Perfect for art students! Times are to be coordinated after receipt of an email expressing interest. Capacity: 14 participants.
