The Walters Art Museum’s goal is to make all of the content on this website usable by assistive navigation and screen reader technologies. We have tested that our visual designs are understandable and navigable by users with low vision. Our design system and visual contrast is compliant with the AA level of WCAG 2.0. We provide alt-text and relevant context for all of our visual assets in order to ensure a good experience when using screen readers. Our videos are subtitled for deaf users, and have audio descriptions for low-vision users.
