Walk, Wonder, & Create Tour: What to Wear? (11AM)

Date
Saturday, November 17, 2012
Time
11:00 AM–12:00 PM
Event is sold out

From velvet to linen, watches and shoes, we face many decisions first thing in the morning. As we get ready for our day, making choices that are truly our own, we dress ourselves in wearable art. What do these items say about you? Become detectives in search of clues. Look closely at clothing and accessories from hundreds of years ago to learn more about people who are not so different than you or I.
Recommended for ages 6-8. One guardian per two children required.

Graduated from our pre-k program?  Join the big kids and their adults for our popular Walk, Wonder, and Create family tours! For ages 6 and up, this once-a-month 45-minute experience allows families to enjoy an interactive tour of the Walters’ collection, and then create artwork that relates to the theme of the tour.

PLEASE NOTE: Online pre-registration required. Register for the 11a.m. or 1p.m. tour. Fall 2012 (August - January) Program registration will be available in July: July 2 - Member registration begins; July 11 - Public registration begins. Museum members can register early for this popular series!

In the event this program is sold out, please email family programs to be placed on the wait list.
