ArtKids Preschool Program: Cat and Rat: The Legend of the Chinese Zodiac

Learning is fun at the Walters for children 3-5 years old and their favorite adults!  You and your child will use all of your senses during this 90-minute, hands-on experience that combines a story chosen for its theme, a short tour, and an art activity.

Please include participating child's name and age when registering online.

In the event this program is sold out, please email family programs to be placed on the wait list.

Please note: Online pre-registration is required. Spring 2013 (February-July) Program registration will be available in January: January 2 - Member registration begins; January 9 - Public registration begins. Museum members can register early for this popular series!

New Eyes on America: The Genius of Richard Caton Woodville

Painter of iconic works of American genre, Richard Caton Woodville (1825–55) led a life of paradox. His humorous characterizations of life, realistic depictions of interiors and use of narrative detail give access to a fascinating period of American and European history.
