Create artwork inspired by natural elements found in our Asian art collection. Squish mud, splash water and touch the sky as we create original work of art in the studio. Discover the plants, animals, environments and legends depicted in Asian art – just watch out for the fire-breathing dragon!Campers will use sumi-e ink, clay and other art materials to depict the many fables and traditions that Asian art has to tell. We will end the week with a nature filled exhibition!

Summer Art Camp at the Walters offers kids entering 1st-5th grades a unique and fun-filled summer experience! Join us as we explore art techniques and cultural themes through gallery visits, in-depth art projects and collaborative theater activities. We'll celebrate at the end of each week with camper art exhibitions and presentations. Choose from five weekly sessions (camps are sold by week) and morning or full day class options.
