Lords and Ladies! Join the ranks of Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci & the Medici family as you travel back in time to the Renaissance! Enter our palace and explore a world of new inventions, discoveries, sounds and ideas. Frolic with Renaissance musicians and dancers! Dress up and step into a gilded frame to become a painting and work collaboratively to perfect perspective! Create artistic masterpieces of your own all day!  Plus, visit the special exhibition, Revealing the African Presence in Renaissance Europe, for FREE today!

Special guests will use dance, music and storytelling to immerse you in the world of the past! Visit the special exhibition for FREE today, and celebrate the work of middle school students from Baltimore City, Baltimore County and Anne Arundel County Public Schools, whose artwork is part of African Presence: Student Response.

New Eyes on America: The Genius of Richard Caton Woodville

Painter of iconic works of American genre, Richard Caton Woodville (1825–55) led a life of paradox. His humorous characterizations of life, realistic depictions of interiors and use of narrative detail give access to a fascinating period of American and European history.
