Throughout history artists have recycled materials to create new works. In this talk, audiences will hear from three speakers about the practice of recycling in art and music. Lynley Herbert, Assistant Curator of Rare Books and Manuscripts, will examine the ongoing medieval art exhibition, artist Loring Cornish will discuss his mosaic works, and DJ James Nasty will demonstrate how music is sampled and remixed.
