Expanded Access

Sensory Morning

The Walters Art Museum opens its doors early for Sensory Morning, a program for families with children with autism and sensory processing disorders. Drop in for a quick visit or spend the entire morning. Facilitated activities occur in the galleries and in the art studio. We provide space for free play in the Family Art Center, and a Sensory Break Area for visitors who need a calm, quiet space.

All programs are free. Please register for an upcoming Sensory Morning online.

The program is offered through a strategic partnership with the Kennedy Krieger Institute. For questions about Sensory Morning, please contact Rebecca Sinel at [email protected] or call 410-547-9000, ext. 373.

Expanded Access Tours

The Walters offers Touch Tours for our visually impaired visitors, as well as Art Moment, a monthly tour program for visitors with early stage memory issues and their care partners.
